About Our Rescue
Waldo’s Muttley Crew (WMC) began rescuing dogs in February of 2012. Our mission is to reduce the suffering of those animals we rescue by providing sanctuary, veterinarian support and temporary foster care with the ultimate goal of finding each animal a permanent, loving and responsible home.
Our passion is to focus on dogs that are under-socialized,
frightened or traumatized due to neglect and abuse.
These are the dogs most rescues and shelters are unwilling to spend the money or the time to work with. Rehabilitating a dog who is fearful, socially immature or completely shut down requires months of therapy and patience. Some can take years to get to the point where they can be placed successfully in a home. As a result, Waldo’s has evolved into a sanctuary for many of these dogs, some of whom you can meet in these pages and see in our logo.
